Linda McDaniels A Dear Friend March 27, 2017
We shared a friendship for a brief time, and I will always treasure the time we knew each other. He was a kind, considerate man and he especially had a soft heart for animals. My dog, Lucy, was always so excited to see hm. It is very comforting to know that he is now with God and His angels. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Sharon Atteberry tribute to Dave March 25, 2017
I am so very thankful to Dave for his friendship with me and especially my husband.  He was truly a brother to my husband.  They shared many happy years together and some tough times in each of their lives.  He was a kind, tender and compassionate person.  He was a friend like no other.  I know he is enjoying being with his family and friends who have gone on before.  Most of all he is rejoicing and praising the Lord Jesus and basking in the love of our Heavenly Father.  I know this for certain because he told me very forthrightly that he knew Jesus as his personal Savior when I talked to him about this back in the fall of last year.  I look forward to seeing him again.
Lonnie Atteberry My Best Friend March 25, 2017
I worked with Dave for about 30 years in the electronics department at Caterpilallar. He had a great sense of humor and loved to get your goat if he could. Dave loved to have people over to his house so he could make a fine dinner for you. He was truly a good cook and had the gift of hospitality. We went many places together and he was always a loyal friend you could count on. Although he had many health problems from an early age, he was always cheerful and ready to laugh. Dave loved animals and took in several unwanted dogs and cats. He cared for them the best he could. Dave was not a religious man but confided to us that he had faith in God and knew his destination. Thank God his suffering is over as he is now safe at home with the Father. I will greatly miss you and will always treasure your friendship. I look forward to our next reunion where we will be friends forever. Your friend always, Lon.
